To provide better and more focused funding support to research and development projects which can help Hong Kong decarbonise and enhance environmental protection, the Government established the Green Tech Fund (GTF) in 2020, with HK$400 million having been injected into the fund.
The GTF is now open for the sixth round of applications until 13 February, 2026. Co-organised by the Environment and Ecology Bureau (EEB) and InvestHK, HKSTP TecONE will hold a briefing session on GTF on 22 December, 2025 (Monday), and we are delighted to have the representatives from the GTF Secretariat of the EEB and InvestHK joining the session to introduce the application procedures and priority themes.
